The purpose of the program is to prescribe rules and establish minimum requirements for the construction, care, and use of the common types of ladders.

All ladders that are purchased and placed into service; or, any ladders that are engineered, manufactured and installed on any Calhex Industries equipment shall follow the requirements set forth by this program.

This program is applicable to all employees who may utilize ladders. When work is performed on a non-owned or operated site, the operator's program shall take precedence, however, this document covers Calhex Industries employees and contractors and shall be used on owned premises, or when an operator's program doesn't exist or is less stringent.
